Victoria Street

Victoria Street, Network

Gross Area: 2,039sq.m

RIBA Work Stages: 1 – 5

Construction Value: £3 million

Gross Development Value: £6.5 million

Year: 2023

Originally built in 1870’s and later added to over the 20th Century, the building was empty for a number of years before our client brought the scheme forward to create 39 stylish new apartments. Bringing life to such a dominant feature on the street scene has been a focal part of the design which will help to improve the overall area for years to come.

Gaining planning permission in May 2022 just five months after being instructed, the scheme maintains key architectural details such as the steel frame windows, high vaulted ceilings, intricate brick detailing and deep window reveals.

These original historical features have been put alongside modern, thoughtful living spaces that all comes together to create a development that is completely unique. The dominant building allowed us the opportunity to create a community as well as just accommodation, bringing a variety of different sized units. On top of that, there is a concierge, co-working space, courtyard amenity space and EV charging points to all parking spaces.

Construction began on site in November 2022, with various challenges to overcome by working with the existing building. Our involvement saw us work alongside a full design team and main contractor who worked collaboratively and proactively to deliver the project in 14 months.
