Heidi did it!! She ran 60 miles in September for Cancer Research UK!

We just wanted to say a huge well done to Heidi at Wilson Architects for completing her challenge of running 60 miles in September for Cancer Research UK.
She has raised a whopping £626 which is going to a fantastic cause!
There are around 367,000 new cancer cases in the UK every year, that’s around 1,000 every day and 1 every two minutes (Cancer Research UK, 2020).
As you all know, chances of survival from cancer increase the earlier it is caught, but the pandemic has caused many people to avoid going to the doctors to be checked. Late diagnoses mean lower chances of survival, and in July it was estimated that an additional 35,000 people will die of cancer as a result of the pandemic!
AWARENESS IS KEY!
So a massive well done to everyone that took part in the challenge and raised both awareness and money for the cause!
