As part of the continued development of Loughborough, we were approached by the client to maximise the site within an existing large property with approximately 0.7 acres. An area with a linear urban grain to the main road, but real constraint to backland development, the site evolved from working with key separation distances and overlooking issues whilst also creating an executive development of five houses.

Working closely with Charnwood Borough Council through the planning consultants has formed a well rounded, fully considered design that creates not just a positive result for the client, but a high quality development that will improve and benefit the area, particularly in a location that cannot meet its five year land housing supply.
